When Sharon Chilcoat (mother of the groom) called me one Saturday afternoon, she was in a panic. The photographer for her son's wedding couldn't make it. I told her not to worry, we had it covered. I'm so glad Sharon reached out to me, because her son's wedding was absolutely what I love to photograph.

Wade and his beautiful wife Dongjin traveled all they way from Korea to share their celebration with his family back here in the states. The ceremony was held on the McDaniel College grounds located in Westminster, Maryland.

The day of their wedding, it poured... and poured... and poured. It poured that morning. It stopped when we began photos of just the two of them. It began again when we were finished. It poured during the entire indoor ceremony, and on through the reception. I cannot prove that the universe works in magnificent ways, but the weather worked out perfectly for us this day.
