During much of 2014, I worked with Carroll County Tourism to capture various hand painted barn quilts sprinkled across various farms of Carroll County, MD. What a beautiful project to be involved in too! There will be more over the next year or so as well!

A number of these works will be in an exhibit in Annapolis, Maryland, at the Delegates Office. And Carroll County will be giving bus tours so that you can see them in person! More will be hung at a later date and I look forward to capturing them as well. Read below for details about the first showing of the images:

Carroll County Barn Quilt Exhibit - 01/2015 - 04/2015
During the week of January 12th, Sandy and Susan of the Carroll County Arts Council will head to Annapolis, MD, to install 18 beautifully printed and framed images of the Carroll County Barn Quilts in the Lowe House Office Building. The showing is to help our delegation understand that projects like this are a result of supporting tourism and the arts with a goal that they’ll continue to support CCAC. Printing + Framing by Gizmos Art. Project funded by Carroll County Tourism. They will remain in Annapolis through the end of the session (early April) and the images will find a new home, likely within Carroll County, MD.
